Coaching and counselling fit well together, both look to create change and bring about new meaning in your life. When coaching we deal with ongoing change, developing your current thinking and practice in both working and personal life. This change cannot and does not happen immediately but slowly builds from one day to the next. Some clients like to have one or two sessions and then move forward themselves while others look to make coaching an integral part of their life. Maybe your reading this and visited my site because you are only seeking help in a specific situation. Whatever your motivation is then that’s fine. There are no minimum or maximum sessions, coaching deals with an ongoing change or development of your working practice, personality or lifestyle. This does not happen immediately but builds from one day to the next, it can sometimes take a while for the change to be really noticed.
We have all suffered from the inevitable bad day, deeper questions such as, is this all there is to life, feelings that you may have settled for less or your stuck in particular situations. Our life experiences inform what we construct as our beliefs or our mindsets. These experiences can lead to negative automatic thoughts or a critical inner voice that keeps us from achieving the progress that will help us to build the life we really want. In coaching we challenge and change those limiting beliefs, look to change your inner voice to one that will offer to support you, facilitate you giving yourself praise for your achievements, offer encouragement when its needed. By working collaboratively, we will create you a new mindset that offers genuine confidence which when activated will lead you to positive change in your life.
